1ST WORLD CONGRESS ON CHILD EDUCATION

“ALTERNATIVE APPROACHES ON CHILD EDUCATION THROUGHOUT THE GLOBE”

CALL FOR PAPER

Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara and Association of Education Researches & Policies will hold World Congress on Child Education with the theme of  “Alternative Approaches on Child Education Throughout the Globe” in Istanbul between April 26th and 28th 2013 just after April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, in order to explore and evaluate current child education issues in the World and Turkey comparatively by considering development process throughout the history and different country practices. We would cordially invite everybody specialized in child education to participate and contribute to the Congress in the following context and given countries. Your presentations are expected to cover the following topics about child education in the context of your country’s understanding and practices;

• Cultural and social perception of concept of a “child”
• Influences of environmental factors on children
• Family models and upbringing of children
• Child educational methods and practices
• The education of children in school
• Various conceptions of “Ideal child”
• Discipline and freedom in child education
• Values formation of children
• Moral/value/character education practices in different national settings
• Critical issues and problems in different educational systems

NOTE.1- Your flight and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Congress.

2- All congress proceedings will be published. The authors are expected to prepare their manuscripts according to APA style and not to exceed 10.000 words.
